To the Inquirer:—The opponents of the present Administration will soon meet in Con vention, for the nomination of candidates for the offices of Auditor and Surveyor General, and as the nominees of the„Convvntion are likely to be elecitd by a majority. of the peo ple it is time we look &mind for the most suitable and available candidates to place in nomination. Among those spoken of in connection -with the nomination of Auditor General. we have beaid the name of Hon:.lameol. Sellers, of Juniata county-mentioned.- This would-be. a capital nomination. Mr 4 - Sellars was twiee . elected Prothonotary of Juniata on the ,Whig ticket, when the rest - of the Democratic ticket succeeded,. and in'the fall of ISM, he was elected by a large majority, by the.
