day was firm and active. Shippers bought
freely On European acocunt. Sales of 8 110

eeipts Comparatively light. At the close some
holders nut willing, to take 40.23. Nothing
done since Vaauge. The New York dispatch
exhibited a slight improvement, and holders
were not anxious to operate at the :ilinve price.
Rye Flour —Stuck moderate and a fair Lfeniand.

Wheat—The receipts to-day were
again quite large,• with good demand, especi
ally fur shipment and prices advancing about
3 cents per bushel. ,Millers also bought treely
ut '25,000 bushels offered and mostly sold

do. at 2 05a$2 12, ordinary to good do. at
1 9.1a52 05. Red, good to prime at 2 10 , 42 15,
ordinary to good do. nt 2 05a$2 10, per bushel,
closing firm. About 10,000 bushels of the
above offerings were left over from Saturday.
Corn—A fair demand, and prices steady.
Abode 0000 bushels offered, and sales of good
to prime old white and yellow at 931015 cents
cut du. at 75a80 cents; new white and yellow
at 75u80 cents; choice new white Corn fur
hominy at 80 cents per bushel. Oats—Sales
of good to prime Maryland, Virginia, Penn
sylvania and Ohio at 381141 cents, inferior to
good qualities at 33a36 cents per bushel. Rye
—Supply very light, a steady demand and
prices upward. Only 400 bushels offered to
day, and sales of Maryland at 107x$1 10;
PennsylVania, Ohio and Western Virginia at
1 1610 20 per hushel.
