day was firmer under the steamer's news, and
an advahee of 25 cents per has boen esta•
blished. Shippers, however, are not anxious
to purchase. Sales on Saturday afternoon of
100 !Ibis moro„Ohio than previously reported
at sB,B4,,ht:which price holders were firm
this mornings- . Sales to-day of 800 bbls Ilow
ord street at $O,OO, closing probably -with
more sellers than buyers. Nothing reported

Of all kinds of Flour are light. Rye Flour—A
steady demand. We quote at 7,1 1 2ia57,25, tor
first, and held firmly. Corn Meal—We quote
country at $4,25, and city manufactured at
$4,50 per bbl—small sales. Buckwheat Meal
--'We got° at $3 per 100 lbs, with sales.
Wheat—Holders to-day were very
firm with large receipts and prices declining
in price of about 5 cents per bushel.—
About 25,000 bushels offered and mostly sold
--choice white at 2 1042 13, good to prime
do. at 2 0042 19, ordinary to good do. at
2 0042 05, and inferior do. at 1 05a$2 00.
Red, good to prime at 2 10ii•$2 15, ordinary to
good do. at 2 0042 10, and inferior do. at
1 0042 00 per bushel. Corn—Market steady.
About 6500 bushels offered, and sales of good
to prime old white and yellow at 0245 cents
cut do. at 75a80 cents; new white and' yellow
at 621170 cents ; choice new white Corn for
hominy at 85 cents per bushel. Oats—Sales
of good to prifile • Maryland, Virginia, Penn
sylvania and Ohio at 38n42 cents, inferior to
good qualities at 35a36 Cents per bushel. Rye
--Supply very light, a steady demand and
prices upward. Only 500 bushels offered to
day, and sales a Maryland at I 05a$1 10 ;
Pennsylvania, Ohio and IVestern Virginia at
1 15a1 18 per bushel.
