_FLOUR AND MEAL.—There is'yery little
export demand for Flour,. but the market, ow
ing to scarcity, has iinproved fully 121 c. 'l.l
bbl: since last week.. Transactions for ship
' ment reach some 7000@8000 bbls. standard
and straight. brands, at $3,811e53,871- ':113
bbl, and half barrels at $4,123 ; the pair, luau-.
.'.ding a small sale of 250 bbls.- strictly fresh
---- groundonadetm-d_ay - at- - $13, - 98 bbl. The
mar etcloses 'T - uier quietly, but good chip
ping Flour is scarce and is generally held at
our highest figures. , Tho home demand has
been to a fair extent, at rather improvedrated,
and sales have ranged from :83,814 to $4,824
for common' to extra, and :84,75605,50 %.1
bbl. for fancy brands. Corn Meal is scarce
and firmly held, with sales of 1260500 bbls.

Bye Flour is very little inqairetl for, and $3,

rates. The 'inspections of the week ending
the 11th instant are 7929 bbls, Flour; 913
half bbls. do.; 20 bbls. Rye Flour, and 272
bbls. Corn Meal.
- ORAIN—Comes in slowly, and the demand
for. Wheat continues small withoUt change in
pricer t only-some-l-eg',2(M)ol3-brtslrelslurving
found-buyers at 80,083 c. for Southern reds,
85eti,88c. r white, as in quality, and 90@.91
c. fof Primo old Penn's. of the latter descrip
tion. Rye is in demand at improved rates,

Corn i- very scarce at a further advance, and

quiet, and sales confined to some small lots of
new seed at $5,130R55,75 bushel. Time,
