country. The main building is large and com
modious, (100 feet in length by 14 in breadth,

everything necessary to convenience and corn
fort. The other buildings compose Bath Hou
ses, &c., to the free use of which the pupils
will have access, at proper hours. The well
known White Sulphur Springs rise within re
few rods of the main building.
The object of the Institution is to fit young
men for bnsiness, or for, any of the . , highe
classes of College. The course of instuction
will be thorough and:complete, more attention
being given to the quality than to tha , quantity
in the performance of the, student. All the
branches taught in the best academies will be
taught in this, and proper apparatus will be
used for illustration of the subjects that require
