We teem from the York Republican, that the
President and Directors of this Company . , on
Monday a week lust, awarded the contracts. for
constructing It complete,inelusßnethe — roads
fotmatieu, superstructure, rails and all materi
als, to Messrs. Gender & Co, for . the sum of
. $5:25,d00-8100,000 of which they take in the
stock-of the Company. The pricp to be paid is

neers. The Contractors, says the Republican,

or sweetish taste in the mouth; ciecasionally•
thirst; the appetite extremely variable, some
limes remarkably deficient, and at others vo
racious. There is sometimes a sickish feeling
with vomiting. of mucous; flatulence of the

bowels are irregular; the stools are slimy; and
