'TO_ BUTTER =CERA. •
MOM subscribers having purchased the right
of Cumberland county for making Crow.'
Patent Thermometer Churn, they would.
respectfully inform the Farliners and public in
general, that they will make and offer for sale
their Churns at the Cermet Ware-room of Geo.
Spiter, in 1•1". Hanover street, next door to
the office of D. Smith, Esq.
Tho principal advantage this Churn has over
all others is, that it is so constructed that the top
can be taken ofieo•is to give free access to the
inside of the churn, -which makes it convenient
to put in the cream .and , get out the butter. A
Thermometer is -attached- to the end of the
Churn soee to show the exact temperature of
the cream, which: experience
,ehows should be
60 degrees to make good Butter. A chamber or
space is . arrangbil around the bottom of the
churn, for the purpose of admitting colder warm
warier, eo us to bring titi cream. to the desired
temperature without mixing the water , with the
cream.'. The secret in churning 'butter is, to
have yottt cream at the 'Proper temperature; 'it
i will produce Mere •and .better butter, and take
less time-in chdrning ;it churns equally well in
