GEN.CAss AND HIS Two LIVES.—The

delphia North American repeats. thd
charge made by him some days since,
that Gen. Cass vas privy to the. fraud
perpetrated upon the country in issuing
two editions of his life—one representing,
him to be in FAvon of the Wilmot Pro
viso,-and the other AGAINST it. He
challenges contradiction of the charge,
and pledges himself to furnish the au
thority. to the public upon which his .
statement is predicated, if it is desired in
any responsible quarter. He says—a
