About six years 'since, In consequence or

whiott were aeon followed by, a failure of sp.

paralysis of my limbs—these symptoms of a
deranged aystern -being frequently attended
with spitting 'of blocid. rd. about two years. I
was also oceistunally thtoWn,into convulsions
which left ma in a miserable state of feeble
ness and began tcriiffeet my mind, From time
t..) time my sufferings were more or less seveie;
until at letngtfitheyincreaded to sock a degree,
and the violence Of the symptoms were so aug-
mented, that fur a Whole year I was unable to
attend to attend tti any business. During this
'time I consulted some able physicians and
attended to their prescriptions; but all their
skill was unavailing to procure me relief, and
at length they regarded my recovery as entire
ly hopeless. .In this condition I was informed
of the salbtary effccts of Thomsnit's Compound
Syrup of Tar and Wdod Naphtha, in a case
somewhat similar to mine, and though I had
given up all expectation of a ittovery of my
former-health by human' meant, ,yet being
strongly advised Miry die mtidledne I was at
length prevailed upon to do so, and l'have now
to . lay, that by the use of six b -tiles in) health
has been restored, and I am aloW. able to at
