A wealthy Japanese gentleman who
came to this country a few weeks ago to
study its civilization has seen one lynch
ing, watched a foot ball game, attended
a meeting of the Chicago City Council,
witnessed an afternoon session of the
Kentucky Legislature, and lias started
back to Japan.
The State Banking Department will
issue a pamphlet containing detailed
statement? and reports of every building
and loan association in the State in a
short time. This will be the first time

used by a Butler friend. The country
man was telling his friend of some un
