It is calculated that the heat produced by re
spiration in twelve hours, in the lungs of a heal

A Change Indeed. "Honest George Krem
er," of Union county, is an out and out Taylor
man, and with him o a hum of political assa
ciatea. Mr. Kremer is an old, staunch Iocofoco
of (he Jackson school, and has Jong been a
leading man of that pany, and frequently named
in connection with the office of Governor.

The Epidemic Michigan.

paign paper in Detroit, devoted to the election
of Taylor. Tho Ann Harbor Democrat dnd

serters are so numerous ilidi too much of our

leading Ones.

At d Cass ratification! meeting and bole' rais
ing, iri Branch county, Michigan, Idiely, there
proved to be mofe Taylor and Van Buren men
than Cassites. When the "raising" cdmmenced,
the ex-Editor of the Sentinel called out at the
top of his voice for three cheers for Cassf which
was responded to with cheers for Van Bureft
and Taylor.- The figging getting tangled, a
man was sent up td adjust it, which he did, attd
then called for "thfee cheers for Old Zack,"
which were given" with tremendous effect.
The Locos then scattered, and the pole fell

Mr. Milne, Builder, in Brookfyn,- was dU
tacked withraising blood, followed by a coilgh,

consumption. He employed two of the beat
