The funeral of Major Isaac Roes, an old
and respected citizen of this place, took
place on Tuesday afternoon from the resi

Charlie was a bright bud of promise, intel
ligent beyond his years, with a kind and
affectionate disposition; his. winning man

a gloom over the 'community in which he I

of his life were spent with his parents in
Kansas, and had returned to, his friends
