Orphans' Court Sale.
TN pursuance of an order of the Orans! Court
JL in and for Susquehanna, county, there will be
sold at public vendue, at the Court flame, in Mon
trose, on 'Saturday the sixth day of October next
ensuing, all the right, title and interest of James C.
Biddle, Esq., late of Montrose aforesaid, deceased,
at the time of his death, of. in and to a certain
piece or parcel of land in the warrantee name of
Lambert Cadwallader—patented to the reverend
John Ewing D. D.—and describedin said patent as
follows, to wit : " A certain tract of land called As
nioNour, situate on the waters of the .Lackwanna,
in Northumberland countf—(now Susquehanna)
" Beginning at a sugar tree ; thence, by land of
John Cadwallader and William Forbes, north-east,
three hundred and eight perches to a maple ;
thence by land of Andrew McConnell, north-west,
one hundred and sixty perches to a post ; thence,
by vacant land, south-west, three hundred and
eight perches to a sugar tree ; and south-east, one
hundred and sixty perches to the places of begin
ning—contdriing two hundred and ninety acres
and allowance of six per cent for roads, &c." It
being the fame lot which George Fuller, treasurer
of said county, conveyed to the said James C. Bid
dle by deed hearing date September, A. D. 1836.

Wednesday the lith day of Oct. next, at 1 o'clocl-

in Lathrop township, Susquehanna county, the. fol
lowing described pieces or parcels of land. The
first, bounded on the North by lands of Franklin
Tewksbury and John Lord, on the East by David
G. Smith, Gilbert Smith and Reuben Tewksbury,
on the south by lands of Jane Rose and John Lord
jr., and on the west by. lands of John Lord jr., be
ing the farm ott thich the decedent resided at the
time of his death, containing about one hundred
and twenty acres, mostly improved, with a frame
dwelling house and barn. One other piece or par
cel of about eighty acres, known as the Whitford
lot : bounded on tie north by land formerly of the
Catlin estate, on the east by lands of Albert La
tham, oh the south by tie rnad,leading from the
Abington and Waterford Turnpike Road, to the
Pierpont Road ; on the west by . the Drinker lands,
and about forty acres improved, with a framed
barn. Also a saw Mill, nearly new, and the ap
purtenances and about four acres of land connected
therewith, with the dam and thei water privilege
therewith; situate on the outlet of the Lord Freud,
late etre estate of Joe,ab Lord deceased. Terms
made known at the time of sale.

and at Stopping also at all the lway sta

A Special IV4 Train, for Purt Jervisand inter
mediate stations, except Sufferne,• Will leave New-
York every 84 yat 3 1-2 p. m., and will leave
Port Jervis for w-York every Monday' morning
at 5 o'clock. !
A Alia Train, with Passenger Cars attached,
will leave Port jervis for. New-York at ten min
utes past 5 a..m.i and returning will leave New-
York for Port Jervis at 3 1-2 p. m. Another milk
train with a passknger car, will leave Piermont for
Otisville at 6 1-2 a. m., and returning leave Otis
vile at 5. p. m., Connecting with the freight boats
to New-York. The milk trains do not connect with

Freight leaves New-York every night for all the
regular stations oh the road. A freight train will
leavegvery morning at 6. o'clock. A freight

morning at 6. o'clock and another at 8 a. m: with
