Montrose.—The undersigned; for, twenty-one
years principal and proprietor of the Business
College in the City . of Baltimore, one of the
largest lotitutions ot its kind in the United
States, will open on Tuesday, January 2, 1877,
a similar Institution in Montrose, at the corner,
of Public and Turnpike Street.
The course of Instruction will embrace Tele
graphing, Book-Keeping,: Penmanship, Arith
metic and all other branches usually taught in
schools of this kind. An apartment will be ap
propriated for the instruction ot ladies in Tele
graphi4g and Penmanship. All interested will
please 'make early application, as the number
of onr pupils wilt be limited to fifty for the

very low, only about one-half what we have
