sor, accompanied by Mr. INT. Dusenbuiy, arriv
ed in this city at" about 11 a. m : yesterday, with
two horse thieves'and burglars, who gave their
names as Saul and' David johnson. They, were
arrested in Windsor "uoder very Suspicious eir
cnmstances,"and have sin /confessed that two
horses found in their pOsslession were stolen in
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. They. were arraigned be
fore JustiCC Chaffee, and waived examination.

ing in which his saloon has been located, in

wed breast has created quite a curiosity in this
neighborhood by building its nest on a passen

The nest now contains four eggs, which the

by the sad neWs that W. : IL Parry, the popular
steward of . the Lackawanna Hospital, was
droximed in the ROaring. Brook . ;nerir - Nay 3ing
Falls. About three . o'clock in theafternoon,—.
Mr. Parry,aecompanied by Mr. Daniel Phillips,
went to Dunmore, and concluded to return by
way of the. wild .scenery of Roaring Brook . —
When they arrived at the old dam at the head

and swam rapidly against the current; Mr.
Phillips watched him a moment, then proceed-

class' attended her funeral in a body and paid !
