showed the boys all the main parts
of the city, be took them ali through
the the capitol building, and it was a
frand thing for the boss, and I know
they all enjoyed tho visit very much,
it was 10.45 that right when we left

dark and not much could be seentiil
about 5 o'clock in Ihe morning when
the trcin ran in at Danville, North
Carolina, there the train stopped and
we got eft' and partook of some coffee
w hich was prepared for us, the coffee
was good, and the boys ecjoyed it.
As the train left Danville tbe people
cheered and flags wi re floating every
where, and that made tbe boys feel
like old soldiers. The boys of Jun
iata, will all make good soldiers and
will be true and loyal to their coun
try. The boys say they are ready to
go to the front, at any time, and say
tbey will represent Juniata, iu the
war against Spain. Kuowing that
