On the afiernoon of the ISth inst.,
near Bellefonte, IV, during a thun
der gust, t wo children named L-'se,
and one named Hunter all between
the agea of 10 and 14, were out pick
ing strawberries. When the storm
came up the children took shelter
under a pins tree, about a half mile
from Bellefonte. Lightning struck
the tree and tha three little ones
were knocked to the ground. Ooe
of the Loso children soon recovered
and saw the other two unconscious
ou the ground. The frightened
children seoured assistance from a
housa a short distance away. It was
found that the Hunter boy was so

sidored very doubtful. Both the I
