Wilson and John Couch of Lucy Furnace were pngHL'd in making ties near the old Hughes place, in Wavne township, Miffiin county, Mr. Wrilson met with quite a painful accident. The two men were chopping about 25 feet apart when Couch's axe flew out of his hands. The bit of theaxe struck Wilson on the forehead above the right eye, and cut a gash extend ing back over the right ear about three and one half inches in lorgth and into the bone. Dr. G. C.
