official vote if it ia correctly counted,
will give to the Republicans a major

but the Democrats have determined
that the vote shall not be correctly
counted. They have made up their

Tho Senate will be tied after
March 4th, without the votes of Sn

as we have said. Republican ; but the
Democrats have determined to count
in West Virginia, and Mr, Saclnbury
intends to contest the seats of
enough republican Legislators in
Delaware to give the Democrats the
majority ou joint ballot. This prob

The situation in West Virginia is

it is in order that the public sense

pale of the law, and all we can dj is
to keep our eye ou them. The
worst tiling about it is that they
nave several schools here for teach
ing Anarchy, which they call "An

they teach the children to hate law,
and the officers of the law. and teach
them the worst principles of Anarchy.
Why. the wife of a trasted employee
of the County Board is tne organizer
and teacher in one of these schools,
and there are no less than five thou
sand able bodied anarchists in Chic

waiting for the appointed time.
Trouble mast come sooner or lat

headquarters, but in the meantime
they will avail themselves of every
opportunity to carry out their ob
ject of destruction to all organized
law and order institutions. They
sent out circulars before the election
asking legislative candidates for au
expression of their opinion on the
State conspiracy law enacted at the
ast session of the Legislature. Many
of tb candidates replied that they
were in favor of a modification of
that law, and some of thee cndi
dates were elected, too. So you see
they are becomiug wiser nd conse

most radical of them are afraid to
experiment together with explosives
as long as the law is as it is.
"You say they have a day set for

positive evidence of their organit
