The great subject last week for conversa

Some month- ago (leorge Howor, bought
what the pant 10 years baa been known as
the McCoy property at the first lock north
of town. The house was rat in a state of

The Harvest Horn picnic held at McCoy
town last Saturday was a successful gath

such sn assembly. The new feature of a
parade waa admirably managed wilh W. C.
I:rd a Marshal. The rrt Koyal Band,
the McCoy town Drum Corps, and the Wat

The procession drew around the platform
in a grove southeast of town, where Dr.
KilUr, as Frcsideut, called the meeting to
order. Kev . John Laird ollered a prayer
ami delivered an address aud was folio wed
by Kev. J. B. Work and T. D. Gartuao.
After dinner the meeting was addressed by
Congressman Atkinson, Rev. I'hilip Graif,
and John Sped.ly. Kev. Philip Grail pro
