The Christmas tree in the Lutheran church at Thompsontown waa a grand one, the church building was crowded. Ou the 2iith day of December, the neigh borhood waa excited over tho ruuaway ol I 2 horses hitched to a sled oaned by B. S. Graybill. Mr. Graybill bad bjeu to town and on his way home be stopped at 111 e house of his father, hitched the team aud went iu to see bis parents, lie bad a 4 year old son with him, unknown to either parent, or grand parent, the 4 year old boy lelt the house, and weut out to the sled, mounted it, aud then a racket took place among the hor ses, they broke the bitching strap and ran away taking the boy with them on the sled. They ran as far as t Solomtn Maub.'ck's place where thev were stopped. Nothing was broken, the boy wat all right and cry ing lustily a if bsdly searei.
