Jacob Bolinger, a citixen of Tuscarora
townsh-p, aged about 65 years, was shot
through tbe fleshy part of both thighs w hile
hunting in the woods, tbe ball having en

the right, touching the bone and coming
near to the surface of tbe leg, from which
it was reinovtd. Who shot him is not

Rev. J. D. Thomas, a Baptist minister, a
native of this county, was found dead on
the highway, near bis home in Huntingdon
comity, ou Tuesday. A lew years ago, bis
lather fell dead on the highway, but a short
distance from his dwelling place iu Lost
Creek Valley, this comity.
