Last Friday morning a couple of the aons

After some time of enjoyment with the
quadruped and vehicle, a rou of Mr. Seeds,
residing on Washington street, was allowed
to become the driver. It was a high time
of enjoyment lor the boy and spectators,
but in an .uulucky moment an excitable
chicken fluttered iu Trout of the dog. The
dog forgot bis domesticated instruction and
asserted bis dog nature and gave chase to
the chicken. The fowl, to escape the eager
pursuer, turned suddenly to aside. So did
the dog, and the sudden turning concludi-d
all the past enjoyment, for by it the
wagon was upset and the boy thrown out
with such force that bis lett collar bone was
broken. Dr. Crawford rendered the neces
sary surgical aid." The gallant little driver
!s doing as well as can be expected.

In Kurtz Kauffman vs. tbe Borough
of Miffliutown, tbe return of tbe Town
t'ouucil to petition of plaintiff for a writ
of attachment, was filed, and tbe con
sideration of the case continued.
T. J. Middagb vs. J. Mason Brezee,
deft, and J. B. Okeson, Garnishee.
Upon answer by the Garnishee, an issue
was directed between Lizzie C. Okeson,
as plaiotiff, and T- J. Middagh as de
fendant, to try tbe right to money in
the bands or Garnishee.
Tbe petition of Robert McMeen rep
resented that he bad been appointed
Sequestrator cf a life estate of Isaao
Etka, for the purpose of paying a judg
ment, and asked to be allowed to rent
and to be put in possession of tbe estate.
"And now, 8th May, 1877, the seques
trator is directed to rent the land in
which defendant has a life estste, for
sdeh a length of time as will be suffi
cient to pay the judgmeut debt, iuter-
est and costs, and tazes io. charged 1
against tbe land during said term, and
tbe costs of said sequestration, aud the j
Sheriff is directed to put the sequcs-
trator in possession of the land, upon ,
being required to do so by the seques-
trator." By the Court.
Tbe consideration of the petition of
William Walls, for benefit of tbe in
solvent laws, was continued until Sep
tember term, 1877.

alias order of sale, was extended until
the first Monday of September.

An order was granted S B Crawford,
Exearutor of J S Laird, to sell tbe real
estate of said decedent.
Tbe answer to tbe petition of Maria
S Cunningham, for an attachment
against J S Robison, set forth tbat said
Maria S Cunningham bad appropriated
to ber own ue, without the koowledge
or aouseot of the Executor (Robison)
of ber mother certain articles belonging
to tbe estate, and tbat tbe estate bad
proved insolvent, and said Maria bad
removed to Nebraska, and there being
no money of the estate in his hands,
that be ought to be allowed to charge
tbe articles appropriated by her, as
against her claim on bim aa ber Guar
dian. Tbe Court said tbat however
Lard tbe matter bore upon tbe Guar
dian, this was not the proper relief,
and tbat be, as Executor, ought to have
brought bis action to recover tbe goods
detained, and ordered an attachment
issued after 30 days, if in the mean
time the Guardian do not pay to bis
former ward the sum of $67.
Court adjourned at 5 P. M., until
tbe 5th of June next.
