Some of our citizens object to the removal
of the, post office up town, oo the ground that
it will draw business away from the Park and
the North part of State street. - Experience
in other cities does not• bear them out in this
conclusion. The bat offices in Buffalo and
Clevelaad 'are .botk outside of the business
,centres, and in fact,seem to have little or , no

few email stores are carried on near them, but
thelarge establishmente; both wholesale and
retail, are all located some distance away. In
New York city, Broadway continues to be the
