ABUSTED.—Geerge Kramer, of Header son township, this county, was arrested a few days ago for passieg counterfeit greenbacks. This is the same George Kra. mar, who about a year ago was so intensely loyal as to desire and waist in the arrest of a number of Democrats in this and Clear. field counties for disloyalty. No amount of labor was too great for him if by it he succeeded in having a Democrat torn from his home and family and incarcerated in some filthy prison. [Wmuntirt= Farrar.] rpUESE riLLs, 60 celebrated many L years ago in Paris for the relief of ,female irregularities, and afterward so notorious fur their criminal employment in the practice of Oration, are now offered for sale fur the tlr,t time in America. They have been kept , in comparative obscurity from the fact that the originator, Dr. Yelpaat, is a physician in Paris of great wealth and strict conscientious prin ciples, and has withheld them from genera/ use, lest they should be employed for unlawful Furpooes. In overcoming Female Obstructions, alling of the Womb, Whites, Green Sick ness, Suppression, Retention, or Immoderate Flow of the Monthly Discharges, they seem to be truly omnipotent, bursting open the flood-gates from whatever cause may have stopped them ; but they are ofteTed to the pub lic only for legitimate uses, and all agents are forbidden to fell them when it is understood that the object is unlawful. Married Indies should never take them when there is any reason to believe themselves pregnant, for they will be sure to produce a miscaniage. These pills are entirely safe under ell cir cumstances, being composed entirely of ,ub stances from the vegetable kingdom. HUSIBOLD ' S EXTRACT or limndreds suffer on in edenee, and hundreds of others apply vainly to druggists and doctors. who either merely tantalize them with the hope of a cure or apply remedies which ruaLe them wor.o. I would Lot,„wisb to assert anything that would do injustice to the afflicted, but I am obliged to sty that although tt roily be produced from excessive exhaustion of the powers of life, by laborious employment. some air and food, profuse menttruatiou, the use of tea and coffee, and frequent childbirth, it is far of. team caused by direct irittattim, applied to the mu. Conn membrane of the vagina itself. When reviewing the causes of these distressing complalubt, it is roost painful to contemplate the at tithiant evils consequent upon them. It is but sim ple puttee to the subject to enumerate a few of the many additional causes which so largely affect the life, health, and happiness of woman iu all classes of society,,aud which, consequently, affect, inure or leas directly, the welfare of the entire human fam ily. The mania that exists fur precocious edueation and marriage, causes the years that nature designed for corporeal development to be wasted and pervert ed in the restraints of dress, the early confinement of school, and especially in the unhealthy excite ment of the ball-room. Thus, with the body hall clothed, and the mind unduly excited by pleasure. perierting in midnight revel the hours designed by nature for sleep and rest, the work of destructicanta half accomPlished. In consequence of this early strain upon leer sys tem. unnecessary effort is required by the delicate votary to retain her situation in school at a later dwY; thus aggravating the evil. When one excite r:neat is over, another in prospective keeps the mind Morbidly sensitive to impression, while the now con stant restraint of fashionable dress, - absolutely for bidding the exercise indispensable to the attainment and retention of organic health and strength the exposure to night air ; the sudden change of tem perature ; 'the complete prostration produced by ex cessive dancing must, of necessity, produce their le. gitircuste effect. At last, an early marriage 'caps the climax of misery. and the unfortunate one, hitherto so utterly regardless of the plain dictates and re monstrances of her delicate nature, becomes an un willing subject of medical treatment. This is but a truthful picture of the experience of thousands of our young women. Long before the ability to exercise the functions of the generative organs, they require an education of their peculiar nervous system; composed of what is called the tissue, which is, in common with the female breasts and lips, evidently under the control of mental emotions and associations at an early pe riod of life ; and, as we shall subsequently see, these emotions, when excessive, ?cad, long before puberty, to habits which sap the very life of their victims ere Endure has self-completed their development.
