Last evening another disgraceful affair
took place at Ninth and Locust streets.
A negro woman entered one of the Union
passenger railway care, and refused to get
out when ordered to do so by the conduc
tor. The car was stopped and the driver
attempted to turn it off the track. The
negroes in the Seighborhood collected in
a body and behaved in a most outrageous
manner. Another car corning up to the.
stopping point, the negro woman got put
and entered it. This raised still greater
excitement, and the negroes commenced
to throw paving stones at the car. They
were driven off before any damace was
done, except icjuring the car:— Plii'ade!-
