C 4141, 011.—USIAT KILDUCTION IN Puce
There has been a stuldan fall in the prig., of
coal oil fur several days past, and yesterday
it was sold at about the same price as it did
at the first of the year. in January, 1862,
sales fur refined were made at from 28 to U

cline of shoot nine cents on the gallon. sod
crude oil wld as low as nine cents per gallon.
Prices advaneed considerably up to diet (dose
of November, when refined oil was held at
from 79 to 95 *ants per gallon, but in Decess•
her there was a deoline to 46 and 66 cents
Large quan.ittea were purchased at these
prices by speculators, and stored up, with the
idea that the navigation in the Goal oil region
would be closed with ice, but the weather con
liastirtg moderate. and the rivers having s
Jew stage of water, there has been such an
Witumulation of oil that pieces have tumbled
down much to the chagrin of large holder,.
The sales of rellead oil yesterday were very
heavy, al from 37 to 45 cents per gallon—
most of the sales being at the drat named
igure. About 1,20) barrels of Grade were
told at from 20 tp 21 cents per ellen, which
is about 20 costliest than sales made to Deo.
