BSjrThose irreverent lads who called
names after a certain "bald head" of
old, deserved their untimely end,because
at that time no panacea had been discov~
ered to restore the human hair upon the
bald spots. But now Ring's Vegetable
Auibrosia is knowu to p'»sess the rare
tiierit of iuvigorating the roots and fill
ing them so full of life, where not en
tirely dead that they cannot help putting
forth a new growth which rivals iu beau

Examine the Premium List of tho

The IVar Against Paraguay. — It
is stated on the authority of letters
from South America, received in
London, that the allies in the war
against Parguay haye lost 7000 men
from cholera, and have 13,600 men in
the hospitals. The sudden rising of
the river Parana, the most remark
able ever known, caused immense
losses of material to the allies, and
in the middle of the confusion caused
thereby, the Paraguayans opened a
tremendous fire from the fortress of
Curupaity. The conviction is said
to be strong ou both sides of the riv
er that Paraguay will never be sub
dued.

I very confidently and earnestly recommend Dr. J.
