Dikd. —On the 21st itist., at his resi
dence in Butler boro., after a protracted
illness—Mr. John Duffy, aged 7'J years.
G months and 20 days.
The deceased emigrated to America,
with his parents, in the year IT9'(—being
but 8 years old. Four years afterwards
they crossed the I lleghcny river into what
is now Butler county; came to the bor
ough of Butler in 1823, where he resided
until the time of his decease.

arrangements fur the summer prevents my
