110 Er BOILER Exmostox.—On Wednes
day morning lust, a boiler in the Pennsylva
nia Rolling Mills, at Danville, exploded with
u terrible crash. Edward Russell was in
rtantly killed, John Clare, sr., and John
jr,, were both seriously injured; Wm.
Farrell, Maw Funk, and Wm. , Mulany
were also badly hurt. The explosion is
supposed to have heen the result of a &feet

is undergoing a thorough and complete ren
ovation. Its interior arrangement is being
entirely changed, from the first floor to the
attic. The energetic and enterprising pro
prietors, KOONS it CLARK, authorise us to
say, that they expect to be prepared to ac
commodate all their old and new friends by
the 4th of May, (Court week). Of course,
they will not be entirely through with all
their anticipated improvements, but will be
so far advanced as to enable them to give
general satisfaction to their guests. It Ls

to no other in central Pennsylvania.

OF UNSEATED LANDS IN COLUSSIA COUATY.
Agreeably to the provisions of an Act of
Assembly entitled en Act directing the mode
of selling unseated lands for taxes and for
other purposes, passed the thirteenth day
of March, 1815, and the further supplements
thereto passed on the 13th day of March,
1817, and the 25th day of March, 1821, and
the 9th day of March, 1847, the Treasurer
of Columbia county hereby gives notice to
all persons concerned therein, that unless
the County, Road, School, Poor, Bounty
and State taxes due on the following tracts
of unseated lands, situate in Columbia corm
tyiltre paid beliire the day of sale, the
whole or such parts or each tract as will pay
the costs chargeable thereon, will be sold at
the Court House, in the town of' Blooms
burg, Pa„ on the Bth day of June, 1868,
and to continuo by adjournment from day
