encamped by On v. Walker against Liw-
rence to intimidate its freemen, have done j

themselves with Walker's bombastic "pro
clamations" as our Whig fathers did with
Gov. Gage's or Dinwiddie's. The people
of Kansas have made no forcible or overt j
resistance to Walker's troops as the U. S.

islature and all its spawn they do contemn '

adelphia correspondent of tho New York
Herald says that the newspaper movement
of Col. Forney is pregnant with mischief,
and there is a very fair prospect that Cam
eron and bis Black Republicans will rule
the roost in Pennsylvania for eouio years

ken to secure large quantities of seed from
