Olr Lecislatire is very busily nt
work upon the Appropriations and Appor-
tionment bills', and f.r the sale of the ;
Main Line. There is good hope for the :
passage of the latter bill.
There are also many private bills, acts :
of incorporation, A-c, pressing upon the !
members. Several liank Hills, amounting
in the aggregate to sometLiug like six
millions of dollars, have followcdtheLew-j

an increase for a single session ; aud a dis-'
crimination between these bauk?, is one !
of the unpleasant duties of the Executive.

convictions of public good in the ,-ra,i.
