Mr. Sellers, and also Mr. Bower, pre
sented petitions from several counties in
their district, fur extending the term of
service for County Treasurer, to three
years.

porate the MiCliutown and Patterson Gas
Company.
Mr. Bower presented petitions for re
straining the fishing with nets in Middle
creek, aud two from Union cennty fur a
law restraining Boom Companies.
Mr. Bower read in plaee a law to pre
vent pedlors selling at auction in Union
county (which was reported against) also
