owner. He brought the fact to our office
to advertise like an honest man. lb forc

all concerned, and the printers lost a job
but gained an "item."
Variety. On our first page will be
found in parallel columns, an anecdote iu
both Koelish and German, which we copy
from the L'ibinon Dmol;rat, whirh gives ;
a weekly lesson of the same kind for the
iustruction of its readers. The German
used is more I'cnnsvlvanian than classical.
It will be seen that the F.oglishmau tells
the story cousidcrahly the quickest, aud
lias in that respect the best language; but
then the Dutchman is good at hanging on,
