will seat 500 to 700 person.,while 40 slips
on three sides of the gallery will seat 400

special occasions. In the center of tho
-ceiling overhead is a ventilator, and the
room is also lighted by four windows on
aeh side, while two wholo windows and
one half window in front are of stained
glass. Mesirs. Jonathan Ncsbit and David
Ointef are the Contractors for the work.
Total cost about $7,000, a part of which

tcaThe Act to consolidate the various
Railroad lines from Sunbury to Baltimore,
baa been approval by the City Councils of
Baltimore. A meeting of the Directors of
the Susquehanna Railroad Company U to
be held at Baltimore on the 11th July.
Should the Consolidation be consummated
as everything indicates it will, there is no
doubt of an early resumption of work on
the Susquehanna Railroad.

the Wheal crop at the lower end of Lyco
ming county ; and wo have seen proofs of
the same evil in the upper end of North
umberland county. In Buflaloe Valley,
the Fly has caused considerable loss to tbe

are said to be good.
