Florida Election.
The Democrats of the Peninsular State
have elucted their candidate fur Governor
over the ricott candidate.
Mr. Cabell, the auti -Scott Whig cirdl
date for Congress, is beaten by Mr. Max
well, the Democratic candidate.
We would like to see what excuse Gree
ley will offer for this defeaty aud the loss
of another Whig State. They have been
beaten on all Vides; 'i'he Whig candidate
for Governor was a Scott man, and the
Whig candidate for Ct n grcss was an anti
Scott man. Yet they are both- laid out,
Ligh aud dry.
Indiana Election.
In this" State there is scarcely a vestig
of Whiggery remaining. The Democracy
have swept the State like a tornado. The
mijority for Got. Wright is about sixteen

The Congressional delegation will stand
