Cross, Agent for Keyburn cV Baker in the construction and erection of Erectile Rods, for a recommendation, it gives me Measure to state that I was present at the Dirkinann Seminary in this place, during the preeent month, v. hen Prof. Barrett, of that institu tion, tested the points of the rods with a strong gitlvanic battery. The points tested by him were made of capper, and pUted with silver. No impression was produced upon the points by the electiic fluid : and so well convinced was I that they would answer the intended object, 'hat I immediately had one erected at my new house in this place.
