THIS new and valuable Medicine, now
used bv the medical profession with
such astonishing efficacy in the cure of
Vulmvnaiy Consumption, Scrofula, Chronic
liheumatism. Gout, general Debility,
Complaints of the Kidneys,
Arc. &c, h prepared from the liver of the
t OD-HSU for medicinal use, expressly
for our sales.
Extract from the London Medical Journal.
C. J. B.Willi aa, M. D- F.R.3- Professor of
Medicine in University College, London, consul
ting physician to the Hospital for Consumption,
Ac, saya ; " I have prescribed Ihe Oil in above
four hundred casea of tubetculoua disease of Ihe
Lungs, in different stages, which have been under
my care the last two years and a nail. In the
large number of cases, 206 out of 234, ila use was
followed by marked, unequivocal improvement,
varying in degree in different cases, from a tem
porary retardation ol Ihe progress of tbe disease
and a mitigation of distressing symptoms, up to
mote or less complete restoration to apparent
health.
"The effect of the Cod Liver Oil in moat of
these casea was very remarkable. Even in a few
daya Ihe cough waa mitigated, the expectoration
dimnished in quantity and opacity, the night
sweats ceased, the pulse became alower, and of
better volume, and the appetite, flesh and atiength
were gradually improved.
' In concluaion I repeat that the pure fresh Oil
from the Liver of Ihe Cod is more beneficial in
the treatment of Pulmonary Consumption than
any agent, medicinrl, dietetic or regimenal, that
has yet been employed."
As we have made arrangements to pro
cure the Uod L.iver uii tresti irom head
quarters, it can now be had chemically
pure, by the single bottle or in boxes of
one dozen each.
Its wonderful efficacy has induced num
erous spurious imitations. As its success
depends entirely on its purity, too much
care c-tn not be used in procuring it orsu-
ini. Every bottle having on it our written
signature, may be depended on as genuine.
Pamphlets containing an analysis of the
Oil, with notices of it from tho Medical
Journals, will be scot to those who address
us free of postage.
