Judge O'Connor I'oastmaster.
Judge F. J. O'Conner was the toastmaster of the occasion. He
was introduced by Grand Knight James Ruth.
Judge O'onner said that he ceremony of he morning had awak
ened he community and that he was proud of the organization
which in a few short years had grown so remarkably. He told
of the hopes of the local council that it will soon have a home of
its own.
Following Archbishop Eonzan's address, Bishop Garvey spoke
briefly. He said there were no Catholics more loyal to the Holy
See than the Catholics of America. He said all nationalities
should harmonize and he cited the example which Somerset
county has set. A number of different nationalities are repre
sented in pratically every mining town. These little groups have
been slow in uniting and can establish but few parishes. He ex
pressed the confidence that before long nationalities will har
monize more freely, and he told once this feeling of brotherhood
can be instilled. ,
