Ice Lions looking for weekend win against UMBC
By Lauren Henderson
FOR THE COLLEGIAN
The No. 10 Penn State Ice Lions
(10-4-2) know they can play with
the best in collegiate ice hockey.
Even if that means taking on the
No. 2 University of Maryland
Baltimore-County (UMBC)
Retrievers at 8:10 p.m. Saturday
night in Odenton, Md.
“We can play well against any
team,” said head coach Ryan
Behnken. “We need to play smart
hockey and stay out of the penalty
box.”

Sophomore goalie Ryan
DeMuth said the Ice Lions know
the Retrievers are one of the best
