To round out this semester's collection of
bold and beautiful fashionistas, we have this
cute little number worn by Melanie Stiekman
(junior-public relations).
Her H&M headband was the first thing
that caught my eye, reminding me of some
thing Taylor Swift would wear. The autumn
colored beaded headband complimented her
multi-colored scarf, also from H&M.
Normally, I’m not a fan of Ugg boots, but
this pair worked well with the outfit, because
the fur on the outside of the boots matched
the color of her cream Old Navy shirt. Plus,
the fur made them cooler than the plain, reg
ular design of Uggs.
Melanie Sttekman stays warm and stylish. " TOTAL COST: $265
The Star of David necklace Stiekman wore
is a family heirloom with a special story
behind it. Stiekman said her great-grandfa
ther wore this necklace during the
Holocaust, and it has since been passed
through the family. Family heirlooms can
make outfits that much more fashionable,
because no one will have the same item as
you, making it unique.
To make this look party-ready, instead of
wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt, you could
wear a cute knit dress with the headband to
give the Taylor Swift vibe I mentioned
though it may be too cold for that right now.
Or you can wear the jeans and shirt with a
matching jacket and heels to hit the town.
