An article in The Daily Collegian yesterday misspelled the
name of the director of Pollock Halls Residence Life. The correct
spelling is John Hurst.
An article in the Collegian yesterday about the Peace Corps
contained several errors. The Peace Corps established in 1961 by
President John F. Kennedy was the U.S. Peace Corps. Patrick
Tobin's alma mater was credited to the wrong person. He was an
undergraduate at the University of Georgia. The Peace Corps
sends about 3,500 volunteers a year. The career development and
placement director's name was misspelled. The correct spelling
is Jack Rayman.
If you have a correction and cannot reach the responsible
reporter, editor or department, please ask for Courtney Cairns,
