Police Log
■ Accident: A roll-over acci
dent occurred Monday night on
East Branch Road, the State Col
lege Police Department said.
The driver, Timothy Isett of
Huntingdon, said he swerved to
avoid hitting another car that
pulled in front of him, State Col
lege police said.
Isett was arrested for driving
under the influence alcohol, police
said.
■ Auto Theft: Eric Whitney of
329 E. Mitchell Ave. reported yes
terday that his Ford Windstar
Minivan was stolen sometime
between Monday evening and yes
terday morning from his resi-
dence, State College police said.
The minivan and its contents
are worth $19,745.
■ Criminal Trespass/Soliciting:
A University student reported
Monday that a person not affiliat
ed with the University was solicit
ing to sell hair salon products
Monday on the third floor of Run-
kle Hall, University Police Ser
vices said.
John Richard Vargas of Chicago
was issued a citation for criminal
trespass, arraigned before Dis
trict Justice Carmine Prestia and
placed in Centre County Prison in
lieu of $250 bail.

police said.

■ Theft: Camden Lindsay, 829
N. Thomas St., reported Monday
that the stereo from his father's
vehicle was stolen during the
weekend while the car was parked
at the Exxon parking lot, 803 N.
Atherton St., State College police
said.
The stereo is worth $1,395
■ Auto Thefts: State College
police said several unlocked cars
parked along Sunset Road were
ransacked sometime between
Monday evening and yesterday.
Miscellaneous coins were taken
from two of the vehicles and a box
of personal items was stolen from
another vehicle, police said.
■ Theft: The keys to a green
Jeep Wrangler were stolen Satur
day night, State College police
said.
Police said the vehicle was
parked at 400 E. Prospect Ave.
and the keys were turned in Mon
day to the department.
