Pat Donovan said the station, which is partly funded by the University, will continue the drive through Nov. 17. "Our only goal is to raise more each year," Daley said "We'd like to raise a lot more than $3,000," tile amount raised last year. Although there are no figures yet, Donovan said pledges have been coming in at a much higher rate than last year, with the station averaging "a couple hundred dollars in pledges a day." "No one talked about the ERA, about equal rights and equal pay or abortion rights," Moyer said. The conference stressed adopting male attributes rather than attempt ing to change society's perceptions of women, Gilmore said. . Because of their dissatisfaction with the conference, women there developed informal groups to discuss these problems, Gilmore said. "We got together informally with others who were disillusioned with the conference and went over these things ourselves," Gilmore said. St. The station will also offer entrance in a draw ing for a football and a Penn State jersey, each autographed by Joe Paterno, in exchange for donations. Donovan said WPSU will broadcast a promotio nal spot for the fund-raiser done by former Penn State wide receiver Jimmy Cefalo and will feature Interfraternity Council president John Rooney as disc jockey on a show next week. Daley said some off-air fundraising activities are also scheduled. Station employees will be canning on College Avenue and on the Mall, and handing out record singles in exchange for dona tions.
