• Raymond P. Gaston, 421 Shadow Lane,
told the State College Police Department
Saturday night that while his car was stopped
on Heister Street at East College Avenue, it
was struck from behind by a 1980 or 1981
brown two-door Toyota Celica driven by a
Caucasian female in her early twenties.
Gaston told police that when he requested
the driver for identification, she drove off
traveling west on East College Avenue. Gas
ton identified the first three digits of the
Toyota's license plate as CDJ, police said.
The initial collision caused Gaston's car to
hit the vehicle stopped in front of his auto
mobile, but the driver of that car chose not to
report the incident. Damage to Gaston's
automobile is estimated at $l5O, police said.

College police early Sunday morning that his
coat was missing from Beta Sigma Beta
fraternity, 255 E. Fairmount Ave. The value

fourth floor laundry room. The clothes were
missing between the hours of 10 p.m. and
10:25 p.m. The value of the clothes is esti
mated at $250, police said.
• Steve Valenzi, 340 E. Beaver Ave., Apt.
112, told State College police early Sunday
morning that his coat was missing from Phi
Kappa Theta fraternity, 338 E. Fairmount
Ave. The value of the coat is estimated at $BO,
police said.
• Katherine Hartman, 708 Curtin Hall, told
University Police Services on Sunday that the
carburetor from her vehicle was missing. It
was parked in Parking Lot 83 NOrth. .The
value of the carburetor is estimated at $5O,
