hall Rd., told the State College Police
Department on Wednesday that a car
struck a mailbox and split a rail fence in
front of his home between 2 and 2:30
Wednesday morning.
Damage to the mailbox and fence was
about $4OO, police said. •

Police Services on Wednesday that an
unidentified male exposed himself to her
in Thompson Hall.

Administration faculty, are winners in
the Masters of Business Administration
Association's annual Excellence in Tea
ching Awards.

ment of finance, and Teichrnan, assistant
professor of accounting, have both re
ceived the award twice.
To determine the winners, course eval
uations written by MBA students were
studied by officers of the MBA Associa

to the Committee on Accreditation of the
American Psychological Association for

elected chairman of the Commission on
Arts and Sciences of the National Asso
ciation of Land Grant . Universities and
Colleges for 1982-83.
Paulson will also attend the 68th an
nual meeting of the Association of Anieri
can Colleges in January in Boston.
Paulson is a member of the asociation's
board of direetors 'and a program chair
man.
• John J. Cahir, professor of meteo
rology and associate dean for resident
instruction in the College of Earth and
Mineral Sciences, is the new president of
the National Weather Association.
The association publishes The National
Weather Digest, as well as sponsoring
regional and national meetings.
o Robert L. Webb, professor of elec
trical engineering, has been elected a
Fellow of the American Society of Me
chanical Engineers.
The society honored Webb for his
achievements in heat transfer research
and enhanced heat transfer technology.
He has several patents, and has been
technical editor of the society's Journal
of Heat Transfer and chairperson of the.
its Heat Transfer Division.
• Craig F. Bohren, associate profes
sor of meteorology, has been appointed a
consulting editor of Weatherwise, a bi
monthly magazine on weather published
by Heldref Publications, Washington.

tions of Chemistry 12. Kasprzyk, a doc
toral candidate, taught the laboratory
section of Chemistry 15, 35 and 36.
• John L. George, professor emeritus
of wildlife managment, has retired after
18 years.
At the University, George has studied
white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, elk, ot
ters and eastern coyotes, as well as
animal damage control and DDT's effect
on animals. He also helped develop the
"Penn State 5-Wire Electrical Deer
Fence."
