Temple had jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning: Mary Decker led off the inning with a, single and advanced to second on a ground out. Sue Smith singled to drive 'hothe Decker. After a walk to Cindy Cohen and a force out at third, Paula Montoney singled to drive in Cohen. • The Lady Lions came back to tie the game in the sikth in ning on back-to-back hume runs by Pam Hoyes and Janet Scinto. However, Temple came back in the seventh with a triple by Sanders and then - the sacrifice fly by Lawrence.
