The program is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. in the park ing lot east of Pattee Library where the $4.75 million first unit of the new facility will be located. Embracing 130.000 square feet, the first unit sill cover six floors and include five ser vice floors, a data processing center, special study carrels, seminar rooms, exhibit areas, three high speed elevators, air conditioning and carpeting. Three of the levels will be physically connected to the main library. Target date for completion of the first unit is May 197 L.
