In explaining AlD’s purposes, Larry Rubenstein (3rd-liberal arts- Totowa, N.J.) said, “What we want to be is an alternative to Students for a Democratic Society and Young Americans for Freedom.” AID' will not be committed to the political right or left, but will take an individual stand on each issue, he said.
