start by finding the hidden
“golden derby” the first day of
Derby Week. Zeta Tau Alpha
copped honors in the “Derby
Snatch” carrying off 34 derbies
prior to the games Sunday.
Kappa Kappa Gamma was sec
ond with 32 derbies, Kappa
Delta third with 30 and Alpha
Phi snatched 26. The Zetas
were awarded the "spirit
award” at the close of Sun
day’s contests.
The Limbo Contest was won
by Gamma Phi Beta* with
Alpha Omicron Pi second, ‘and
Alpha Delta Pi third. The
“Bag-a-Sigma” was won by
ZTA; lota Alpha Pi was sec
ond and Alpha Omicron Pi and
Delta Zeta tied for third.
The “Smoke-a-Cig” contest,
featuring female cigar smoking
experts was copped by Gamma
Phi Beta. Theta Phi Alpha was
second and Alpha Kappa Alpha
third.
The Kappas ran a crooked
mile to capture first place in
the "Bat-Spin Relay”. They
were trailed closely by the
KDs. Alpha Xi Delta ran third.
